2020 DIRISA Datathon

The 2nd Annual DIRISA Student Datathon Challenge was held from 26-29 July 2021 virtually. The theme for the datathon was “Finding a South African Solution for the Covid-19 pandemic”. Find more information about the 2020 SDC here.
2021 DIRISA Datathon

2022 DIRISA Datathon

The annual DIRISA Student Datathon Challenge was held from 26 November 2022 to 2 December 2022 at the CSIR ICC in Pretoria. The theme for the 2022 Datathon was “Using Social Media Data to find innovative solutions”. Find more information about the 2022 SDC here.
2023 Datathon
The 5th SDC focused on Youth Unemployment and developing solutions to tackle this major problem in South Africa. More informatin about the 2023 Datathon can be found here.
2024 Datathon
The 2024 challenge was held at The Boardwalk and Gqeberha from 30 November to 4 December 2024. 10x teams participated n the challenge from various institutions from South Africa.. More informatin about the 2024 Datathon can be found here.
