_module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>The 1st Annual DIRISA Datahon was held in December 2021 and had a general theme to allow students to be able to come up with solutions from any research area.<\/p>\n<p>The teams that participated in the datathon were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sol Plaatjie University (SPU<\/li>\n<li>WITS University<\/li>\n<li>University of Johannesburg (UJ)<\/li>\n<li>University of Pretoria (UP)<\/li>\n<li>Tshwane University of Technology (TUT)<\/li>\n<li>University of Limpopo (UL)<\/li>\n<li>University of Mpumalanga (UMP)<\/li>\n<li>North West University (NWU) and<\/li>\n<li>A Mixed team (Made up of high school students from Lethlabile and Tsako Thabo High School and Two university students from Wits and NWU).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=&#8221;1_3,1_3,1_3&#8243;
